- It’s important to note that these plugins are still in beta, which means they may have occasional issues. Sometimes they may provide incorrect answers, while at other times, they may fail altogether.
- Currently, there is a limit on the number of plugins that can be active simultaneously. You can deactivate them, but only up to three plugins can be active at any given time.
- At present, you can either browse the web or use plugins. It’s not possible to do both simultaneously. Some plugins duplicate web access in their functionality, so this limitation isn’t as significant as it might initially seem.
- Please be aware that when using plugins, you are still restricted to 25 ChatGPT-4 queries every three hours. If you exceed this threshold, you’ll be redirected back to ChatGPT 3.5. Therefore, it’s crucial to have a clear understanding of your objectives before starting your session.
- This software is entirely new, and OpenAI strictly prohibits the use of plugins for malware, phishing, or spreading misinformation. Similarly, plugins cannot be used to circumvent or interfere with OpenAI’s secure systems, although it’s not impossible for such instances to occur. Users should exercise caution.
